Quick and easy to use, KinTracK allows us to objectively measure results and specifically justify care decisions in the patient’s rehabilitation plan to the physicians.
The data provided is accurate and enables a thorough evaluation of gait parameters. We use it to visualize the patient's gait before and after rehabilitation, with the goal of observing progress following treatment.
The visual feedback enhances precision and helps patients better understand the care provided and the reasons behind it. It's a valuable tool for both professionals and patients.
Thanks to its ease of use, we were able to train the entire team (PM&R doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Adapted Physical Activity specialists, nurses, inpatient and outpatient services).
We primarily use it for monitoring neurological patients by conducting visual and quantified analyses approximately every 15 days. It takes us less than 4 minutes to complete a full analysis (2D, 3D visual, spatiotemporal, and kinematic).
It is also a valuable motivational tool, as it helps reinforce the message and strengthen the relationship with the patient.
In conclusion, the combination of objectivity and practicality improves patient care. It also allows us to rate CSARR acts.
